| 04-16-2010 AUTUMN played in the 2010 All Girls National Championship (14 under division). Her 4 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss were good enough to tie her for 2nd place. A really good result. Overall, she played very solid Chess. She gained 12 rating points. GOOD JOB!! |
| 03-30-2010 Autumn played for the Montgomery Central High School team this weekend in the 2010 Tennessee State Team Finals. She scored 2 wins with 1 loss. She wound up in a tie for 5th overall out of 69 players. I do not have the overall team results. |
| 12-07-2009 Autumn participated in the MEIGS Scholastic this weekend. She had a bit of a hard time with the fast time controls not allowing sufficient time to play carefully. She won two, drew two and lost one. She dropped a quite a few rating points, going to 1388. That score was still good enough for a tie for 8th place out of 36 players. |

We had several players compete in the 'HEART OF TENNESSEE OPEN - 2009'.
Floyd Parton and Jose Singson had the best results tying for 11th overall.
Both won 3 games and lost two. Blake and Autumn both tied for 26th
overall, both winning two games and losing three: Autumn: Rated 1453, faced a master and a class 'A' player. Coming very close to beating the class 'A'. She dropped on game on time, having a winning advantage at that time. |
| 08-03-2009 Autumn just returned from representing Tennessee at the 6th Annual Susan Polgar Nationals in Lubbock Texas. These girls represent the best girls in the country. Autumn has a fantastic tournament tying for 8th place (last year she tied for 39th place). She gained 92 rating points, winning 4 out of 6 games. Losing only to two players rated 500 points above her, while beating two players rated 300 points above her and two 'other' players...catapulting her rating to 1455. Congratulations! Great job! |
| 04-18-2009 Autumn just finished the 2009 Tennessee Girls Championship. She had a fine result with 3 out of 4, tied for 2nd place. Having examined her games they were of a very high quality. In the final game, she held a huge advantage nearly the entire game, only to be spoiled by one blunder. But what a great result. Her rating continues to climb going to 1364. |
| 04-03-2009 The SUPERNATIONALS are over, Autumn scored 3 wins 1 draw and 3 losses. All of her opponents out ranked her by over 100 rating points. Scoring 3.5 with that caliber of opponent, is a wonderful result. She gained 51 rating points! This takes her rating to 1339, an all time high! Be sure you congratulate her on this accomplishment. |

| 12-12-2008 Autumn played in the 2008 K-12 Championship in Florida. She scored 4 wins with 3 loses. She won 2nd in her rating class, winning a trophy. Her rating went from 1119 to 1203 - an 84 point increase! Great job!! |
