7-23-2010 Bill visited some folks in Oklahoma and while he was there entered the 65 Oklahoma Open and Jerry Spann Memorial. He did very well, placing in a tie for 6th place with 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss.

5-25-2009 Bill went to the Chicago Open. Not a good tournament, mostly due to the very late schedule of night rounds. Oh well. 2 1/2-4 1/2

5-16-2009 Bill played in the Tennessee Senior Open winning three and losing one. This place him in a tie for 3rd place in a very strong field of players. He took top honors in the over 70 group, winning the over 70 title and prize money. He gained three rating points. Congratulations Bill!

8-30-2008 Bill competed in the Tennessee Open with a great result. He wound up with 3 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss. He made the draw with State Champion, Todd Andrews, rated 2375. He was tied for 4th overall, first class A. This was a wonderful result. He gained 38 rating points, taking him to 1930.

1-20-2008  Competed in the Queens section (class 'A') at the NTWO. He went undefeated with 3 wins, 2 draws to take clear first place. His rating went to 1892.
