We had several players compete in the 'HEART OF TENNESSEE OPEN - 2009'.
Floyd Parton and Jose Singson had the best results tying for 11th overall.
Both won 3 games and lost two. Blake and Autumn both tied for 26th
overall, both winning two games and losing three: Blake: Rated 1168 going in, was facing the gauntlet. He beat a 1446 and a 1519 (hundreds of points higher than himself), losing to a 1371, 1797, and 1701. Talk about tough - the average opponent was 400 points higher! Very good result, his rating jumping to 1519 WOW! |
