08-22-2009 Charles played in the 17th Battle of Murfreesboro. He scored three wins with two losses. This is an exceptional score considering the strength of his opposition. His rating was 1166 going in to the tournament. He beat a 1650,  1388, and 1380 rated opponents, beating them all. He gained 119 rating points, going to 1285! A Great job.
