10-17-2009 We had several players compete in the 'HEART OF TENNESSEE OPEN - 2009'. Floyd Parton and Jose Singson had the best results tying for 11th overall. Both won 3 games and lost two. Blake and Autumn both tied for 26th overall, both winning two games and losing three:

Floyd: Rated 1470 going in to the Tournament beat two class 'A' players and a lower rated player. He lost only to a Class 'B' and an Expert. His rating flies up to 1649 - a great job!!

08-22-2009 Floyd participated in the 17th Battle for Murfreesboro. This was his first time to play since the stone ages and he did pretty well. He wound up in a tie for 29th out of 63 players winning 2, losing 2 and drawing 1. His rating will be 1470.
