We had several players compete in the 'HEART OF TENNESSEE OPEN - 2009'.
Floyd Parton and Jose Singson had the best results tying for 11th overall.
Both won 3 games and lost two. Blake and Autumn both tied for 26th
overall, both winning two games and losing three: Jose : Rated 1720 going in to Murfreesboro lost only to Ron Burnett (2403) and Justice (2128). He gained 4 rating points - up to 1724. Nice job |
| 08-22-2009 Jose played in the 17th Battle of Murfreesboro. He placed the highest of those attending from the Clarksville Chess Club. He scored 3 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw. Placing him in a tie for 10th out of the 63 contestants! Nice job. |
