7-19-2009 Richard traveled to the Peachtree State for the 2009 PEACH STATE OPEN in Scottdale. He entered the under 1500 division and tied for 9th with 3 wins and 2 loses. He unfortunately lost 33 rating points. Still, a very respectable placing!

7-11-2009 Richard entered the Murfreesboro Grand Prix 2009 tournament. The won 2, lost 2 and drew 1 - finishing in a tie for 20th. He did however, beat two players rated 200 point above him, a 1661 and a 1630 rated players. He gained 44 rating points. Good Job Richard!

5-16-2009 Richard played in the 2009 Tennessee Senior Open. He scored 50%, losing only to those higher rated than he. This placed him in a tie for 13th place. His rating dropped little bit.

2-20-2008 Richard competed in the 2008 February NCC Quads in Nashville. He scored 1 win with 2 losses. His rating dropped a bit to 1427.

2-10-2008 Played in the Under 1600 Section of the 2008 Nashville Open. He tied for sixth with 3 wins and two losses. Gaining 14 rating points, going to 1449.

1-20-2008  Competed in the Bishops section of the 2008 NTWO. He tied for 3rd with a score of 3 1/2 of 5. His rating went to 1436.
