Interesting and useful downloads

An improved download page will be set up very soon. In the meantime there are a few items you may download to help you improve your chess game.

To download an item, right mouse click a link below, then select 'Save Target As' and save it to your hard drive, be sure to remember where you saved it.

ChessBase Light This is not the complete version of ChessBase, but it will handle a database of 32000 games!
An option to purchase then entire version is available.

White Checkmates   Black Checkmates    1001 Sacrifices and Combinations  These are tactical databases of pgn files.
You can practice against using Fritz or any other chess software program..

If you are familiar with how to use UCI chess engines, there is a free, very powerful engine.
You can download the 32 to or 64 bit versions here. (Right Mouse click - Save Target As)
