RULES  for  the  Simultaneous

1. The master plays White in every game.

2. The challenger is bound by touch move rules; if the challenger
touches a piece with the apparent intention of moving it, he
must move that piece. If he touches a square, he must move a
piece to that square, legal moves permitting. (This excludes
adjusting  sloppy placement of a piece - simply say 'I adjust'.)

3. The challenger must NOT move until the Master arrives at
his board, nor may he touch the pieces while the Master is
at another board. Once the Master arrives, the challenger
MUST then move immediately or use one of his two passes.
If the player will not move immediately, the Master has the right
to FORFEIT the challenger by turning over the player's King.
There is no time constraint placed on the Master.

4. Due to room reservations, after a majority of the games are finished,
the master may insist that a time clock be used to complete the
remaining games, set at five minutes per player. Each game will
then be played to completion, one game at a time.

5. If you keep a score sheet of your game, time permitting, the Master
will analyze the game for you. Otherwise, you can request a detailed
analysis, which will be mailed to you free of charge.
